DEPOSITS- not usually required.
CANCELLATION CHARGES- The hotel strongly recommends that you take out holiday cancellation insurance.
Our cancellation charges are as follows:
Date of booking- 1 day = No Charge Day of arrival. To include no shows, late arrival or early departure= 100% of the total stay. Should the hotel be able to re-let cancelled accommodation the hotel will waive the cancellation charges incurred.
SETTLEMENT OF ACCOUNTS- Accounts are payable on departure, as long as a credit card has been supplied to secure the booking, or upon presentation we can only accept cheques when supported by an appropriate cheque card, unless ten days clear notice is given. We do not accept company cheques without prior arrangements. We accept Mastercard, Visa, Delta, Maestro, Electron, American Express and Bacs.
ARRIVALS & DEPARTURES- We endeavour to have your room ready for your arrival from 2pm, we do ask you to vacate your room by 10am on the morning of departure. Late checkouts are available at an additional cost, please ask at reception for details.
PETS- The hotel regrets that pets are not permitted in the grounds with the exception of assistance dogs.
SMOKING- From the 1st July 2007 the hotel (including Bedrooms) will be completely non- smoking. An outside covered and heated smoking area will be provided at this time.
CAR PARKING- There is car parking for up to 50 cars in the hotel's grounds. Customers cars are parked on the hotel grounds at their own risk. Methuen Arms Hotel can accept no liability for loss or damage to cars.
TARIFF EXCLUSIONS- There are certain dates when this tariff does not apply, due to special events taking place. The hotel reserves the right to amend any rates without notice. All reservations made and confirmed in writing will be honoured at the agreed rate prevailing at that time.
